FEP fluoroplastic hoses are mainly used in their transparent form. Fluoroethylene propylene is a simpler thermoformable and processable fluorocarbon plastic and has a wide thermal operating range. Fully fluorinated FEP is closest to PTFE, which is also fully fluorinated, but offers the advantages of good drawability, weldability and crystal-clear transparency.
