For precise cable wrapping, ROTIMA offers a medium-wallheat shrink tubing made of cross-linked polyolefin, available as a medium-wall heat shrink tubing with adhesive and as a medium-wall heat shrink tubing without adhesive. Both versions use heat activation and achieve shrink ratios of 3:1 and 4:1, which means that even complex cable geometries can be processed reliably. The medium-wall cable protection conduit works in the range from -55 °C to +130 °C, provides 16 kV/mm electrical insulation and therefore meets typical requirements in mechanical engineering, energy systems and vehicle technology.
The adhesive-coated version acts as a shrink sleeve for cable sealing and creates a tight moisture barrier. The version without adhesive acts as a centre-wall insulating sleeve for applications with a focus on mechanical stabilization. Both versions are suitable as heat-shrink tubing for outdoor applications where UV resistance and high surface protection are required.

Depending on the area of application, the variants are used as heat-shrink tubing for moisture protection, insulating tubing in industrial quality or as heat-shrink insulation for cables for reliable cable sealing and corrosion protection.
The wall thickness class activated using heat-shrink technology ensures stable results in electrical cable insulation, cable repair, outdoor electronics, machine cabling and vehicle cable protection, supported by strain relief, UV resistance and temperature-resistant insulation. The range also includes a medium-wall adhesive shrink sleeve, a medium-wall insulating shrink sleeve and a sleeve for shrinking as a polyolefin shrink sleeve or medium-wall shrink sleeve.
