The super-thin PVC shrink tubing in Kopalon quality is designed as a rigid PVC shrink tubing for battery packs for compact assemblies. As a distributor, ROTIMA provides a solution for battery sheathing that is processed using rigid PVCshrink tubing with a low shrink temperature (from approx. 80 °C). The thin-walled or super-thin rigid PVC shrink tubing offers a shrink ratio of 2:1, works in the range -20 °C to +85 °C and is self-extinguishing. Suitable as insulation tubing and as heat-shrink tubing for 18650/21700 battery packs with dielectric strength up to 80 kV/mm.

The technical data sheet lists the key purchasing data in compact form: Shrinkage capacity 45 % (± 5 %), wall thicknesses approx. 0.05-0.30 mm depending on flat size, mechanical characteristics (tensile strength 14 to 15 N/mm², elongation at break 150 %, change in length max. -10 %) as well as electrical values such as specific resistance 10^14 Ohm-cm. Battery shrink tubing with low shrink temperature
As a distributor of battery shrink tubing, ROTIMA provides super-thinshrink tubing made of rigid PVC Kopalon for battery packs, designed for space-critical assemblies. The PVC battery pack shrink tubing works with a shrink ratio of 2:1 and a low shrink temperature from approx. 80 °C. This makes the shrink tubing suitable for battery packs up to a temperature limit of 90 °C. As insulation tubing, it offers high dielectric strength and self-extinguishing properties. In addition, variants are available as thin-walled heat shrink tubing, medium-walled heat shrink tubing with and without internal adhesive and thick-walled heat shrink tubing with internal adhesive.
